Join Chef Nicla as she teaches you to master dishes from her native Liguria. In this 3-hour hands on class, Chef Nicla Gallione (www.nicla.co.nz) will teach you how to make pesto the traditional way. You’ll also learn to make a filled pasta dish typical of the region: pansotti alla Ligure with salsa di noci. Everything is vegetarian.
Chef Nicla is from Cairo Montenotte in Liguria where she opened her first restaurant at age 25 (www.nicla.co.nz); she now runs a catering company in Wellington.
After the class we will all sit down for lunch together with a glass of fine NZ vino.
