Peter is widely considered to be New Zealand's most professional forager. He is a regular guest on Radio NZ and has amassed an extensive knowledge of all things nature after years of working with the Department of Conservation. Peter works closely with some of NZ's best Chefs, guiding, and helping find the bounty of wild produce that this beautiful country has to offer.
Frank Brewer is an extremely talented young Chef at the popular Matterhorn on Cuba Street. He is a passionate and enthusiastic forager who uses a vast range of locally sourced, foraged produce in his culinary creations.
Frank and Peter will be taking you on a twilight forage along the South Coast to discover the vast array of edible wild foods that are waiting to be discovered and be eaten!
After our field trip we will head back to Crave Kitchen with our foraged finds and Frank will cook a delicious supper, which will be served with a glass of wine.
